Hall of Fame (AKA: the good posts)

Now this is a vanity post if there's ever been one. I thought it might be a good idea to catalog the posts that I feel are the most enjoyable reads. In chronological order, here are the posts from this blog that I think you might like the most:

My Top 5 Games of 1991: #2 Final Fantasy IV (SNES)
I honestly think I peaked with this one. All my subsequent reviews that included full plot summaries are just too bloated, but this one is succinct and fairly witty if I may boast a bit.

---

My Top 5 Games of 2008: #4 Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3)
MGS4's plot is just so bat shit insane that I could have done a straight plot summary with no jokes and it still would have been goofy, so this one was pretty easy to write. This article was when my posts really started to get tl;dr.

---

Bad Games That I Love: Home Alone (SNES)
I know that it's wrong to laugh at your own writing, but this one cracks me up every time I read it. I went for an Angry Video Game Nerd style review with this one and I think it turned out okay. Like MGS4, this game is just so wacky that this article pretty much wrote itself.

---

My Game of the Year 2008: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 (PS2)
This is it: the most tl;dr article that I've ever written. This is the first full article that I've written so far about a game that's among my top 10 of all time, so I knew it had to be in depth and I really like how it turned out.

 ---

My Game of the Year 2001: Silent Hill 2 (PS2)
Silent Hill 2 is my second favorite game of all time so I really spent my time on this one and I think it's pretty funny. I probably used one too many meme references but whatever, they make me laugh.

There you have it. There might be other stuff worth reading on here but I'd say if you only want the best of the best, check those out. It's not much of a hall of fame right now but I'll hopefully write some more articles worth bragging about in the future.
